Buff Doge vs. Cheems

Then versus now, where 'then' was heroic and 'now' is pathetic.

A generational comparison, always unfair, and the unfairness is the joke. Left is the ancestor who did something absurdly difficult; right is the descendant defeated by something trivial.

Four caption slots, two per side: a heading and a line beneath. Use the headings for who they are and the lower lines for what they did.

The convention is that Cheems' text is written in a slightly broken register. It is optional, and worth knowing before you decide to leave it out.

Where it comes from

Two Shiba Inu images: a muscular edit of the original Doge, and 'Cheems', a dog whose captions are conventionally written with a speech impediment.
